La crepa si è formata in seguito a un incidente, prendeva tutto il lato del cerchio causandone anche la deformazione.
Prima della riparazione, perciò, è stato necessario allentare tutti i raggi opposti al lato ruota libera per detenzionare completamente il cerchio e ripristinarne la planarità.
Successivamente, mediante l'ausilio di uno stampo appositamente creato, si è provveduto a riparare la crepa, prestando particolare attenzione al posizionamento della fibra di carbonio per salvaguardarne l'estetica.
Il risultato è che la riparazione è praticamente invisibile, ma soprattutto strutturalmente garantita.
